10 in 7 challenge

Ok so here are some ground rules for the 10 in 7 challenge for myself.

1) Exercise a minimum of 4 times a week for atleast 1 hour. 30 minutes of that HAS to be cardio
2) I will cut out bread for 2 weeks. Pitas, crackers, tortillas are all ok. No more breadbasket, toast at breakfast, breadbowls with soup, bagels at work.
3) I will eat breakfast everyday.
4) I will eat atleast 2 fruits and 3 vegetables a day.
5) And this is the most important. I will not weigh myself until the 4th week.
So while laying in bed with the sir we were watching Rock of Love Charm School. The girls had to see a doctor to hear about what their hard partying lifestyle was doing to their body. The doctor just kept repeating the phrase you only have one life to live. It stuck with me all night and all morning. Time to make some lifestyle changes? I think so. EJ/BJ and hotel room is in exactly 7 weeks. Realistically and safely I can lose 14lbs in that time, I'm going to shoot for 10. Ten pounds will get me to where I was at this point last summer.  My motivation I have something cute I want to show sir and I don't want to feel uncomfortable.

D is for Divorce

Not even one year of marriage and a divorce. It just goes to show that extremely expensive wedding might be a lot of fun to plan and throw. Your guests will have a great time, but I'm pissed that I gave such a lavish gift and the marriage didn't last a year. Shouldn't guests get their money back if things don't last more than a year. I'm starting to rethink wanting a big wedding one day. Maybe big enough to include everyone, but not lavish and over the top.
So long pumpkin patch wedding and taffy apple dessert table.
Hello Dinolfos and sheet cake.
Hopefully it will at the very least still be spice cake.

I'm trying to find something really romantic to do on a tuesday afternoon or a wednesday afternoon. We are going to see Elton John and Billy Joel at Wrigley field on tuesday july 21st and I am going to get a hotel room so we can drink and have a good time.

UPDATE

Update on tequila man.  He came into work yesterday and when he ordered that drink again I asked if he wanted a shot that time and he just started laughing. Said he was hoping I would have forgotten.

Dilemma for the day. Do I treat myself to a pedicure and start the path of pretty feet for the summer or do I go buy new gym shoes so that I can continue to workout all summer? Oh decisions, decisions.

Better late than never.

Why hello it's been awhile. I really want to try and get writing again and what better way to do it.

I hear a lot of funny things at work, yesterday was one of the best.  A man came through the DT and ordered a frappuccino with an extra shot of tequila. Immediately said "shit i mean espresso, fuck it's been a long day." I hear a lot of things, but this was the first time someone actually ordered alcohol. Usually they ask as a joke, laugh and drive around. A part of me wishes I had the tequila to give that man, I think he may have needed it.
